Here at Filmosophy, we believe in the power of images.
It's as simple as that.
Our names are Jack and Paulina. We are a photography-videography duo living in the heart of Scotland, who have worked both abroad and in the UK.
We met through a love of the movies, and decided that we needed to share that with other people. Our passion for film transcends simply looking at them. We love nothing more than creating beautiful images, and if the rest of our lives was dedicated to this pursuit, well, we say that is a life well spent.
Filmosophy grew out of this desire. Our passion for the world of cinema combined with our love for creating images formed our personal philosophy (or film-osophy) and work ethic - we approach each project with an appreciation of it's unique qualities, and the unique opportunities for great storytelling that they provide.
Because of this, we do not pigeonhole our style or cookie-cut similar projects. Filmosophy thrives on the eclectic and varied possibilities for telling stories through photography and videography, drawing on aspects of each discipline to inform the others, resulting in a personal, tailored style of working that cannot be replicated.

BlogOur Blog section is where we encourage more people to love movies too. To cultivate a love of cinema and engage with everyone we can, we knew we needed a platform to do so: a dedicated site that could organically grow and evolve with time. Our Blog, therefore, is part community project, part academic resource, part fansite, part review hub, and all passion.
